Yesterday morning about 6:00 AM, it began snowing here in North Central Indiana. When I went to bed last night it was still snowing. We have approximately 20 inches of snow on the ground now. This morning the sun is shining brightly, and the temperature is hovering at -15F. Our city is almost completely shut down. No factories or schools are open, and even Walmart is closed! I am on a list to be plowed out by the same crew that take care of my lawn in the summer. It's a long list, so I have no idea when they will get to me. I am warm, have enough to eat, and am safe. That's the most important thing. Most of our state is under a "red" travel warning, so even if I get plowed out, I won't be going anywhere. I'm keeping in contact with my kids and grands and friends via text, phone and computer! Maybe by April this will all be a memory! Until then, lots of TV, books, and crafts are in my future!
Peace,
JE

Guy across the street plowed us out about 10:30 this morning. Can't even tell it now. Hubby shoveled the front and back decks. Takes a lot out of him. He would probably be out there if I hadn't made him come inside. Stay safe, stay inside.
It's a balmy 17 degrees here and hasn't snowed for over a day.
We got plowed out last night about 10:00PM. The guys on the plow said that they were running on "coffee and Red Bull" and had been out since 3:00 AM that morning.
It's still cold, but the sun is shining brightly and the weatherman says there is hope! LOL! Think I will just stay in. I have found that no matter how well a house is insulated, this kind of cold seeps in anyway.
So glad your drive is cleared. Our was yesterday afternoon, but they the winds just kept blowing and it closed again. Husband is home today and out there shoveling it out. We don't have hills of snow, we have mountains.
My goodness, it is really piling on for you. I hope you are okay down there.
