Ever since I first read "A Catcher in the Rye" way back in high school (long, long ago!), I have been enamored of coming of age novels. Boy's, girl's -- makes no difference. I guess I keep trying to find out where I went wrong!! (LOL!) This one just might have to be the next one on my list!
I've been reading Maggie's blog for a while, and came over to visit your blog a few times. You appear to be more of a contempory of mine. I haven't found many blogs by men that have caught my interest, but I'm gonna have to sign up to follow yours!

I might want to caution you, if you are offended by rough language and, shall I say, explicitness, you may want to skip this novel. If not, read it. I found it endearing in spots. Maybe because I was about that same age in 1957!!
