Gas (or should I say Gold)

I got this from Mel over at Mellodee's Musings. Our gas here in the Midwest today is $3.43 a gallon. If it keeps on the rise, I will be staying home even more than I am now,(if that's even possible) or taking public transit around town. As soon as the weather warms up, I will get out the trusty Schwinn and pedal my a** all over town.
This is a case where the rich are getting even richer and us poor blokes are getting poorer by the minute. Where will it end?
And SSI didn't go up this year because the consumer P I allegedly didn't go up. Well, you can tell Mr. O doesn't have to pay for his own gas! Or groceries, or utilities!
I swore I wasn't going to get started...so I will shut up now.

Peace, (it might help the world situation)
JE

I hate to tell you this. Gas is actually 3.55. It dropped 2 cents yesterday to 3.43 then went up 12 cents to 3.55 by the time I got off work yesterday.

You know I agree with you! (All except the bicycle part....you've got to draw the line somewhere,ya know?)
And all those senators and congressmen and governmental officials, (none of whom live in the same world we do!) just keep telling us that things are getting better, and what all we have to do, and that the government needs even MORE of our money and on and on and on. Of course the senators and representatives very meticulously exempt themselves from having to suffer any of the economic pressures we do, while they are flying all over the country calling each other names and blaming all our woes on the other party.

I would seriously like to see any one of them try to juggle their money like we do to keep ourselves out of debtors prison! (I know, it doesn't exist anymore, but you get my drift!)

I'd be glad to trade place with any of them for a few days! :)

(Oh thanks for the acknowledgement, but I stole it from Facebook, so I can't take the credit!)

Thanks Curley, for the gruesome news. And just as I was about to leave the house for the gas station before coming to your house. You just made my day begin without sunshine!! LOL!

Mel, Actually, I enjoy riding my bike. Unfortunately, my town is very hilly, so I try to stay on the top of the hills. I live right at the top of the biggest hill in town. The library is only 4 blocks and down hill a little. The groceries are all on the flat. So...I've got it made! (Oh, and the Ice Cream Shoppe is only 3 blocks away on the "straight-away."

Hahaha! I love that sign!

Gas here, for regular unleaded is $3.69. Not pleasant.
