What I Read #9

Peace like a River by Leif Enger: Not the kind of novel I usually choose, Peace like a River was highly recommended by a friend. Told in "first person" narrative, it is the story of Reuben Land, his younger sister, Swede, and his older brother Davy. It is a story of faith and perseverance. At times it is funny; at times it is heartbreaking. But throughout the entire book, the closeness of family, and the faith that holds them together is closely interwoven in a story that will leave you with a smile, and a feeling of gladness that you took the time to read it.
Happy Reading,

JE
